It’s the Depression era and you know what that means: An excuse not to include any people of color. Their bootlegging, gangs and shady cops in this take-it-or-leave-it action flick starring Shia LeBeouf and Tom Hardy.

Sam Raimi backed this film, in a turn for the director best known for drawing inspiration with the fantastical. Inspired however loosely on real events, The Possession has scares that critics are calling “better than most.”

Orlando Bloom is a doctor obsessed with his patient and is willing to do anything to keep her in his presence, including tampering with her medications. This thriller got mixed reviews on the circuit last year, but does include Randall Park, the affable Asian commercial man.
